Grietje

I have completed my first solo album with my own songs on it! And I'm proud of the result. I recorded the songs all by myself in the washroom of my house on the second floor. I put them in a sixties bath and made them shine with the sound of 2011! The album of Grietje is named 'Across Borders' I play almost all instruments myself; i sing, play drums, bass, electric and acoustic guitars, piano, hammond and kazoo. Veldhuis en Kemper

This is my new Beatles Tribute band, the bassplayer from Mal Evans Memorial Band and me got together with 3 great musicians and ex-members from The Strawberry Beats. Mal Evans Memorial Band
This ex-band needs no introduction. In 2005 we won an Apple award for being the best Beatles coverband in Holland. We played in Liverpool in 2006, 2007 and 2008. We had some busy years recording our own album ‘Beatles in Dutch’, and thanks to that and thanks to our TV performance at the primetime very popular daily show ‘De wereld draait door’, we did a lot of gigs.
